The customer receives a voucher for a free item via physical (personal) mail, to be collected at one of Sligro's or Sligro-M’s self-service stores. Customers are selected together with the supplier and a database marketer. This selection can be specified based on customer category, in combination with purchase behaviour, allowing almost all conceivable selection criteria. This targeted audience selection means the response is very high (on average about 20%).
The direct mail can be used for:

Bringing a product to the attention of potential new customers
Reintroducing an existing product
Conditions:
The free product is not a sample, but the regular product in the regular sales unit
Exclusively free products, no price reductions or buy X get X free promotions
A professional product can be offered at both Sligro-M and Sligro
Retail products can only be offered at Sligro
Direct mail is targeted at customers who come to the store; the promotion cannot be used for delivery
The duration is two weeks, starting on Monday and ending on Saturday
The supplier is responsible for the design of the voucher, within the format provided by Sligro-M and Sligro
Sligro-M and Sligro set up an additional order, based on circulation x expected response. Any remaining stock after the end of the promotion will be included in regular sales and not invoiced as a DM product.
Sligro-M and Sligro take care of final adjustments to the voucher, the printed material and shipping

We take part in Horeca Expo (Ghent) and Horecatel (Wallonia) every year. At these large exhibitions, a large network of food professionals visit our stand. Each visitor is given a fun goodie bag containing a voucher booklet full of discounts. It’s the perfect moment to showcase your (new) product!
